However, once he's over it, he talks openly with her about his plans for parenthood, receiving sound advice. The doctor reassures Laura and Paolo: they are both fertile and can have a child. The two spend all day trying to find a place to "try," but it seems arduous. Cristina seems to have convinced herself to talk to her father about her pregnancy, but every time she tries, she's interrupted or misunderstood.
