唐一恭因内务卫生不合格一再挨罚，蒋若琳把自己不合格的内务悄悄换给了谢妍，致使谢妍与唐一恭一起被高冲罚跑步。高冲在骨干会上批评唐一恭谢妍所在班的班长江天、苏寒。苏寒对高冲体罚学员表达不满，高冲辩解说那不叫体罚，是为让犯错误的同学加深印象，以免他们今后再犯同样的错误。 心情失落的苏寒接到沈玉川的短信，苏寒夜里悄悄溜出去见沈玉川，却被蒋若琳发现告密，高冲找苏寒谈话，二人之间矛盾终于暴发，性格倔强的苏寒杨言要退出国防生，脱掉军装转身离去。江天得知情况后拿着苏寒的军装找到她，力劝她不要退出国防生，与希望她退出的沈玉川发生冲突，沈玉川拉起苏寒转身就走，江天告诉苏寒她爸爸来校看她了，希望能见到她穿军装的样子，苏寒最终犹豫着从江天手里接过了军装。 父女见面，苏寒一言不发，苏一良临走时鼓励女儿坚持下去，出租车离开的那一刻，苏寒哭着大喊，我不想当国防生。
